The Insurance Specialist is accountable for developing, maintaining and enhancing employee and member relationships through the purchase and maintenance of numerous insurance solutions. This is achieved by conducting discovery interviews with members and prospects to identify individual needs and goals and creating an appropriate solution, while maintaining consistent practices.
They also play a key role in the delivery of wealth services to our entire membership by being part of a team that encompasses our membership base. They fulfill that role by uncovering the full financial needs of our members and referring those members to a Retail Financial Advisor, Business Banking Advisor, Investment Advisor and Wealth Protection Specialists.
They foster an environment where employees on the team benefit from professional growth and development by taking an active role. They possess effective business habits and are accountable for the meeting/exceeding both of personal and corporate goals including the retention and acquisition of new members.
They will live the brand by ensuring members feel at home, leverage the fully integrated financial services platform and promote Servus Credit Union as a good corporate citizen. They represent Servus in the communities in which they work and live.
